Connect4Shore is looking for a (Senior) Front-End Developer

How we work

We built the mobile apps with Expo, a framework that makes developing Android and iOS apps easier. This cross-platform development allows us to deliver more value, while maintaining the flexibility to use native code if necessary.

We use EAS Workflows to automate our CI/CD development and release processes for React Native.

For our web app, we use React. By using similar technologies for both web and mobile, we ensure consistency and speed up development. In addition, we use a CI/CD pipeline for the web application, which automates the build, test and deploy process. This ensures fast and reliable releases, while ensuring the quality and stability of the application.

Your role

You are responsible for the further development and optimization of our Connect4Shore app (web, iOS and Android). Our portals have been set up and improved by full-stack developers, but now we want to make a professionalization step in the front-end area. That is where you come in!

We work agile according to Scrum and have a pragmatic approach. With our experienced IT team and CI/CD pipelines we can implement improvements very quickly. Your work has a direct impact on both our users and clients, which means that you can really make a difference!

 

What will you do?

• Professionalize and improve the front-end architecture on both a technical and functional level.
• Implement innovative and challenging solutions in collaboration with users and IT colleagues.
• Further develop and optimize the Connect4Shore customer portals.
• Monitor and improve development standards.
• Take ownership of the work you deliver.

What do you bring?

• HBO or WO work and thinking level with at least 3 years of experience as a Front-End Developer.
• Good command of Dutch (so that you can easily communicate with colleagues and stakeholders).
• Experience with TypeScript, React, React Native and Expo.
• Proactive mindset and the capacity to take a leading role in our front-end strategy.
• Awareness of secure coding practices and experience with DevOps and Scrum.
• Strong communication skills and the drive to continuously improve yourself.

 

Who do you work with?

At Connect4Shore we work with a small and driven team of 15 colleagues, 9 of whom are in the IT team. The Development team consists of developers with different backgrounds and specialisms. You work closely with your team, process owners and the business.
